We use 6mm toughened glass for kitchen splashback applications. The image is printed directly onto the rear side of the glass rather than being applied as a vinyl film, which helps prevent issues such as shrinking, lifting or warping from heat over time.

Cooktop position, burner clearances, rangehood area, wall condition and manufacturer requirements still need to be checked before installation, especially where large burners sit close to the splashback.
