Why Choose Frameless Shower Screens?
Frameless shower screens create a more open and spacious feel compared to traditional framed systems. Using thicker toughened safety glass and minimal hardware, they deliver a sleek architectural finish that suits both contemporary and classic bathrooms.
Benefits include:
- Clean minimalist appearance
- Easier cleaning and maintenance
- Improved sense of space and light
- Flexible design options
- Premium hardware finishes
- Custom sizing for each bathroom layout
Our installations use 10mm toughened safety glass manufactured in accordance with Australian Standards.
Shower Screen Types Available in Melton
Walk-in shower screens
A fixed glass panel without a door. Ideal for larger bathrooms, creating an open and seamless look.
Hinged shower screens
A frameless glass door mounted on solid brass hinges. One of the most popular and practical configurations.
Sliding shower screens
Perfect for bathrooms with limited space. Sliding doors allow for a fully enclosed shower without requiring swing clearance.
Full height shower screens
Floor-to-ceiling glass panels used to create a clean architectural finish, often seen in modern bathroom designs.
Hardware finishes
We offer a wide range of hardware finishes to match tapware, towel rails and other bathroom fittings.
While finish names may vary slightly between suppliers, they generally align with popular brands such as ABI Interiors, Caroma, Estelle, Meir, Nero and Yabby, allowing the shower screen hardware to integrate seamlessly with the rest of the bathroom.

Our goal is to create shower screens that integrate seamlessly with the rest of the bathroom.

Frequently asked questions
Common questions about frameless shower screens, installation and maintenance..
How much does a frameless shower screen cost?
The cost of a frameless shower screen can vary depending on the height, size, layout and hardware selection, but as a general guide:
-
Fixed panel / walk-in shower screens typically range from $800 to $1,400
-
Fully enclosed shower screens (with door and return panels) usually range from $1,700 to $2,500+
Sliding shower screens and more complex configurations may fall within or above this range depending on the design and finishes used.
Factors that influence the final price include:
• overall size of the shower
• configuration (walk-in, hinged, sliding)
• type of glass (standard clear, low iron or fluted)
• hardware finish
Because every bathroom is different, we provide custom quotes based on your exact layout and measurements.
How long does it take to manufacture a frameless shower screen?
After final measurements are taken, manufacturing and installation are typically completed within 6–10 working days. If you’re working to a tight timeline, let us know in advance so we can plan accordingly and attend as soon as the bathroom is ready for measuring.
Do frameless shower screens leak?
When installed correctly, with proper seals and adequate floor falls, frameless shower screens are designed to keep water contained within the shower area.
We manufacture our shower screens with minimal clearances to reduce the chance of water escaping. Doors are fitted with PVC seals, and in most cases a small water bar is installed to help direct water back into the shower.
Frameless shower screens are very effective at containing water, but they are not completely watertight due to the small gaps required for the door to operate properly.
What is the standard height for a frameless shower screen?
The most common height for a frameless shower screen is around 2000–2100mm. This works well in bathrooms with standard ceiling heights of 2400–2500mm, providing good water containment while maintaining a balanced look.
However, all of our shower screens are made to order, so the height can be customised to suit the bathroom layout. In some cases the glass may be adjusted to line up with window heights, door openings, tile lines or other design features.
Can you match my tapware and bathroom fittings?
Generally, yes. We offer a wide range of hardware finishes designed to match popular tapware brands.
Our finishes are selected to closely align with brands such as Meir, Nero and ABI Interiors, making it easier to achieve a consistent look across your bathroom.
We regularly supply the most popular finishes including chrome, matt black, brushed brass and brushed nickel, along with many other options.
With over 20 finishes available, we can usually find a very close match to your existing fittings.
