Yes. A frameless shower screen can often be added to an existing tiled bathroom, provided the walls, floor, waterproofing and fixing points are suitable.

This is common when replacing an older framed shower screen or updating a bathroom without doing a full renovation. We check the finished opening, wall condition, tile edges and drainage before recommending the best layout.

Final measurements should be taken after the wall tiles and floor tiles are completed. This allows the glass to be custom made to the actual finished opening, including wall alignment, floor fall and tile lines.

You can still contact us earlier with plans, photos or rough measurements so we can help guide the layout before the bathroom is ready for final measure.

After final measurements are completed, manufacturing and installation is typically finished within 6 to 10 working days.

It depends on the bathroom size, shower opening and how the room is used. For family bathrooms, the most practical option is often the one that gives good access, easy cleaning and enough glass coverage to help control water.

A sliding shower screen or corner entry shower screen can work well where door swing is limited. A hinged frameless screen can suit larger layouts where there is clear space for the door to open.

We use 10mm toughened safety glass for our frameless shower screens. It gives the screen a solid, stable feel while keeping the clean frameless appearance.

Compared with thinner glass used in many framed screens, 10mm glass feels more substantial and helps reduce flex or rattling.

Generally, yes. We offer a wide range of shower screen hardware finishes designed to coordinate with popular tapware and bathroom accessory brands.

Common options include chrome, matt black, brushed brass, brushed nickel and gunmetal.

Exact finishes can vary slightly between brands, but we can usually select a finish that works closely with the tapware, towel rails and cabinet handles already chosen for the bathroom.

Low iron glass is worth considering when the bathroom has white tiles, light stone, marble look finishes or premium hardware.

It has less green tint than standard clear glass, which can make the shower screen look brighter and cleaner in lighter bathrooms.

Frameless shower screens require very little maintenance. Regular cleaning of the glass and occasional wiping of the seals and hardware is usually enough to keep the screen looking clear and operating properly.

If anything needs adjusting during the warranty period, we can come back out and sort it. Seals and silicone are considered consumable items, so they are not covered under warranty as they wear with normal use over time.
