Glass Splashbacks
for Laundries
Melbourne
Glass splashbacks are a practical way to protect laundry walls while keeping the room easy to clean. We measure and install painted, printed and mirror glass splashbacks to suit sinks, cabinetry, power points and the actual wall layout.
Request a QuoteA clean finish without grout lines
Laundries are often compact, so the splashback has to work around cabinetry, taps, sinks and power points without making the room feel busy. A single sheet of glass gives the wall a smooth finish and is straightforward to wipe down.
Each panel is measured for the actual space before manufacture. Cut outs, notches, joins and return pieces can be incorporated where required, depending on the layout.

These projects show painted, printed and mirror glass used with different cabinetry, sinks, power points and room layouts.
Made for the actual laundry layout
Many laundry splashbacks are not simple rectangles. The glass may need to fit around power points, taps, cabinetry, windows or changes in benchtop height.
Photos and rough measurements are useful for an initial discussion, but final glass sizes are based on an accurate site measure before manufacture.
Where there are GPO cut outs or other penetrations, the panel layout and glass type need to be considered properly before ordering.
Questions we are commonly asked
Can glass splashbacks be used behind a laundry sink?
Yes. Glass is commonly used behind laundry sinks because it creates a smooth surface that is easy to wipe down and protects the wall from everyday splashes.
Can the splashback be cut around power points?
Yes, where the glass type and layout allow it. We measure the position of power points and other cut outs so they can be incorporated into the manufactured panel.
What colour glass works best in a laundry?
That depends on the cabinetry, benchtop and the amount of natural light. White and grey are common choices, while darker colours can work well as a feature. Mirror glass is another option when you want the room to feel larger.
Can you make a splashback that looks like tiles?
Yes. A printed pattern can give you the look of a tiled feature while keeping the surface as one smooth sheet of glass without grout lines.
Do you measure the splashback before it is made?
Yes. The final glass size should be based on an accurate site measure so the panel suits the wall, cabinetry, sink, power points and any other details in the laundry.
